Dr. Manish Mehta is one of the pioneers of Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in South Gujarat, with more than a decade of experience in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology.

An M.S. from B J Medical College, Ahmedabad, enthusiasm for excellence and improved patient care prompted Dr. Manish to get trained with national and international stalwarts in the field of GI and Laparoscopy. He obtained his Diploma Laparoscopy from EITS, France in 2004. He has also received FIAGES.

One of the first to perform Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeries in Surat, he has graphed his career with singular determination to develop, evaluate and propagate Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. The advent of Laparoscopic Surgery with his hands has become a point in surgical reference of the region.

At present he is the Chief Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgeon at Excel Hospital, Surat. He is the visiting Laparoscopic Surgeon of many private & premier institutes of the city. He spearheads the department of the Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at Anand Hospital and Asutosh Hospital.

With determination and perseverance, he pursued the surgical treatment (Bariatric Surgery) of patients of morbid Obesity. His deepened understanding and tenacity bore fruit with patients benefiting from Bariatric/Metabolic Surgery.
